IPCNC Conference abstracts portal now open for submissions
We warmly invite abstracts for next year’s IPCNC conference “Lights, Camera, Prevention”. Submit them through the abstracts portal on the conference website https://www.ipcncconference.nz/. Submissions close 2nd April 2026. The conference will showcase innovation in IPC, and we encourage submissions and registration from the public, private (including aged residential care) and non-profit sectors. If you have a IPC project you have worked on for postgrad study or at a similar level, this is your opportunity to take the extra step and celebrate your achievement among likeminded people.
AS/NZS 5369:2023 Amd 1:2026
The new joint standard for reprocessing RMDs has published its first amendment on 16th January 2026. The standard is now called AS/NZS 5369:2023 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities.

IPCNC Fundamentals of IPC programme fee increase
Following on from the AGM, the fees for undertaking the IPCNC Fundamentals of IPC programme are now set at $600 for IPCNC members and $800 for non-members.
