I trained as a nurse in the USA but eventually came back to my homeland, NZ. I have mostly worked in cardiac, ED & general practice nursing before venturing into the IPC world.
I’ve learned an incredible amount about infection prevention and how it affects all of us in the last 7 years.
I wanted to join the committee to help represent the South Island in Infection Prevention, and to broaden my IPC networks and share my IPC passion with the members of the college.
I have 4 kiddos & a hubby who are so much fun. I love singing with my two bands (sometimes also in the kitchen to annoy the kids) and baking!
