IPCNC Fundamentals of Infection Prevention and Control

This course introduces new and existing infection prevention and control practitioners to the key concepts of infection prevention and control (IPC) which underpin IPC practice in all healthcare settings. This course is suitable for a healthcare worker who has a role or an interest in IPC and can commit to around 60 hours of study over 4 months. The course is open to IPCNC members and non-members.

The Master of Applied Professional Studies – Infection Prevention and Control supports you to broaden your knowledge and experience through reflective practice, critical evaluation, in-depth analysis of issues and applied research. University of Otago - Post graduate IPC course

Offering two post grad courses NURS471 Special topic. Foundations of infection prevention & control (30 points)- NURS472- Special topic. IPC in practice (30points) Note: these courses are offered every two years. Check Otago website for current enrolments.

ARA Institute of Canterbury - Level 7 IPC course

Infection Prevention and Control course GCIM701 Level 7 5 credits Delivered as part of the graduate certificate in nursing programme.

Griffith University Graduate Infection Control Program

The Griffith Graduate Infection Control Program is the longest running and most successful tertiary infection prevention and control education program across Australasia. The programs are offered online, full-time and part-time. You can choose to complete the Graduate Certificate first and then continue on to the Master of Infection Prevention and Control or, if you meet the admission requirements, you can apply for entry directly to the Masters program.
