Anne Hutley is a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), in Infection Prevention and Control with 19 years’ experience currently working in Capital and Coast Hutt Valley District. She has worked both in private and public settings as a CNS in Infection Prevention and Control and has an  additional 11 years of clinical nursing experience.
At present she is a committee member of the National Infection Prevention and Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, representing the IPCNC and a committee member of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC) Representation and Advocacy Committee.
She is a member of the New Zealand Infection Prevention & Control College (IPCNC) and has represented them in the Strategic Infection Prevention and Control Advisory Group (SIPCAG). She was a member of the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Infection Prevention Aseptic Technique working group. This group developed the New Zealand Aseptic Technique programme (NZAT). She was also a member of the Orthopaedic Expert Facility Group, providing guidance and clinical advice in relation to the SSII Programme, while representing the IPCNC.
